Thank you for the lovely Parsnip dogs! My daughter had a wonderful 6th birthday party and all the children had a great time. The voice recorder worked well and is a permanent "Happy Birthday" reminder for my daughter.
We played lots of party games including "Dogs" whereby a blindfolded child has to guess whose lap they are sitting on when the other child woofs like a labrador puppy! Everyone went home happy. We bought 1/2 metre of different ribbons so each child could choose one to identify their dog, saved upset being caused by mix ups!
My daughter is having a lab puppy for her birthday (we already have one who is six!) and she should be born any day! Thanks for the speedy delivery (even though the postal strike was on) and high quality kits.

My daughter, Rachel, had her 8th Birthday party at home with the bear making kits. Firstly the children found the bear kits which had been hidden around the house. They then each made a bear and personalised a
T-shirt for it, and named it filling in the birth certificate. They then
went and decorated a fairy cake each and placed a candle in it. They all then sang Happy Birthday to Rachel and then put the cake in front of the bear and sang Happy Birthday to their bears. It was then lunch time and
they all sat in a tent we had put up in the garden with their bears. We gave matching food for the children and the bears (ie large pizza and mini pizza, large and mini jammie dodgers and jaffa cakes).They all had great fun and loved the bear theme.
Rachel said it was one of her favourite birthday parties.

Hi,
I would just like to say that my daughter & her friends had a great bear making party. I thought 11 year olds might find it a bit childish but they
really enjoyed it. I hid all the stars around the house & gave them each a clue as to where their star was. They then designed the t-shirts prior to
completing with fabric pens & writing birth certificates. Then, they went into a darkened room in pairs to find their bears (I had bought the ones with glow in the dark hearts on their tummy) & finally they stuffed the
bears. There was no need for party bags as they all had a lovely teddy to take home.

Dawn Apcar and Charlene came to our house and quietly and efficiently took over the running of the party with 14 girls who had so much fun and were so well behaved. We had my daughter\'s party at the weekend and everyone had a fab time! I\'ve attached a group photo for you of the finished product. We planned the party exactly how your instructions has said to do it and it worked fab. All the children loved their new teddies
and I\'ve had lots of mums asking where I got them from, as their daughters loved it so much. We spent loads of time designing the t-shirts, I had made templates for them to practice on first! and then I\'d bought jems and
buttons etc for them to glue on - they loved it! The voice boxes where also brill - my son recorded a Man United song onto his whilst some of the girls
made their own very sweet messages and others recorded Hannah Montana!! My daughter takes her new teddy \'Charlie\' everwhere!!!

I would just like to thank you so much for making my daughters 6th
birthday party a truly magical experience. We are lucky to have a woodland garden, so when the children arrived we went on a \'bear hunt\'to find our teddies. The children spent time stuffing them and carefully decorating their T shirts. We finished off with a picnic in the woods!
The following day all the children brought their bears to school, and a couple of weeks later they continue to bring them in to play with them all together. My daughter, Angharad had her 6th Birthday party on Sunday and she and her 11 friends had a wonderful time! It was a great success.
Your idea is inspired, your service was efficient and accurate and the accompanying letter including party ideas was very helpful.
We split the group into three and while four of them brought their bear to life, four of them decorated their fairy cakes and the remaining four coloured in pre-printed birthday cards & thought of a name to write on them. Then we swapped around. We played party games, ate food and enjoyed a teddy shaped birthday cake!

I wanted to write to say A HUGE THANK YOU for sending the bear kits to me so quickly in time for my daughter’s party on 11th January.
The party was a huge success – I had 21 children in total (all under 5’s!!!) and they simply loved their bears. I used some of your tips for games like the hunting of pictures relating to bears and I made up a new style of musical chairs - we played musical “paw prints”; I had printed out lots of large paw prints onto A4 sheets of paper and put them on the floor, the children danced round them and obviously I took one away each time ! They loved trying to stand on the paws !
Apologies for taking so long to get back to you, but I needed to go back to work to recover !!
On a final note, I do have some items that were not used and wondered how I should return these to you. I would be grateful if you could let me know and I can package them up and get them back to you asap.

I would just like to thank you for providing the idea and everything else needed for a brilliant party. My daughter (8) had a super time. Making the teddies and decorating the T-shirts took well over an hour. We then had a teddy bear picnic tea and only just managed to fit in a quick game before the mums arrived to pick up the party girls, Everyone was impressed with the quality of the bears and the special carriers meant that I did not have to do party bags. It was recently my daughter Laura's 7th birthday. We planned a Be My Bear party and combined this with a sleepover for 8 little girls(is she mad, I hear you say?). Fortunately the weather was wonderful so we did a treasure hunt to find the bears, which we were able to make sitting on blankets in the garden, the idea being we could then have a teddy bears picnic straight after. The girls just loved it, especially the part where they made a wish and inserted the heart. Following a great time in the garden we then went indoors to design t-shirts and complete birth certificates. Here the girls really used their imagination and had a great time using lots of different designs and colours. We wrote on the back of each t-shirt 'Designed by' and the childs name so that they could keep the bear as a memory. We gave prizes to the best 3 t-shirts and the best names which were 'Toffee' followed closely by 'Loved' and 'Cheeky'. The girls then performed a bear show with their new found friends playing the leading roles - the kareokee machine really came in handy here! We ended the evening with milk and jammy dodges, normal size for the girls and mini ones for the bears! The girls tucked themselves up in their sleeping bags with their much loved teddies and went to sleep. The next morning the girls were still very excited about their teddies and couldn't wait to show mum when she arrived. All of the parents were delighted and commented what a great idea it was. I can honestly say we all had a great time (even my husband who got involved with making the teddies). The girls where kept occupied for hours - thanks a lot for a great service also.

Just to let you know that we ran Rosanna's Be My Bear party on Saturday with 8 of her friends. They are all girls between 6 and 7 and they had a fabulous time. After stuffing the bears and choosing names and filling in the birth certificates the girls then designed a white T shirt for their bear using fabric pens and bear motifs, hearts and butterflies that I had bought. The T.shirts looked great on each bear. Fun was continued with party games and bear related gifts, I had purchased some extra clothing for the bears from your website. Just a little note to say I gave my daughter a Be My Bear party and they all loved it!
I had eight of her little friends and my own two daughters at home and was dreading it thinking that they would get bored and I wouldn't be able to hold their attention for two hours, but actually it was totally stress-free. The girls were so absorbed by making their bears and it was really quiet and relaxed. In the end the two hours went so quickly that they hardly had time to eat anything! To see all the girls' faces when they were given a bear each to make was great - a couple of them couldn't believe they were taking them home! As we also bought the T-shirts for the bears, we split them into two groups, so half decorated the T-shirts in the dining room and the other half stuffed the bears in the lounge and then swapped round.
Once again thank you and I've no doubt we will be using you again!

Just a quick note to say thank you very much for a thoroughly lovely and easy 8 year old birthday party. I ordered 10 bears and t shirts from you last Sunday, they all arrived by Wednesday. I had the party yesterday and all the kids loved it. Every bear was exactly what the kids wanted. They enjoyed the whole experience and my daughter said it was the best!
